Welcome to Uganda with Wild Frontiers Uganda Safaris!

We are proud to operate in Uganda, one of  East Africa’s fastest growing and most exciting, diversified safari destinations offering year round opportunities for tourism. Uganda offers numerous opportunities to experience the safari of a lifetime; primate viewing such as tracking wild Mountain Gorillas or Chimpanzees through the rain forests. Big game safaris on the savannah, amazing bird watching, fishing the river Nile at Murchison Falls National Park or Lake Victoria. Climbing to the snow in the Mountains of the Moon, rafting the Nile river at its wildest, or experiencing the breath-taking landscapes and warm, welcoming culture of Uganda; it is all possible with Wild Frontiers Uganda Safaris.

With over 20 years of operation in Uganda and over 30 years of combined safari experience under our belt, Wild Frontiers is one of Uganda’s longest established and premier safari companies.  From humble beginnings of one safari guide and his landcruiser (read more about our history), Wild Frontiers Uganda has grown from strength to strength to now operate:

Our Lake Victoria Excursions

Operating from tranquil Entebbe, Wild Frontiers offer safe and professional boat transfers to and from Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Our fleet of custom-built boats and internationally qualified skippers also offer fishing trips on the lake as well as sunset cruises on the Equator and visits to the nearby Mabamba Swamp for birdwatching. Our Entebbe support team can also organise specialised Ngamba Island chimpanzee programs as well as Behind the Scenes and other interactive tours to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Wild Frontiers Uganda is a full and active member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators and has an active Responsible Tourism Policy.

Film Crew Location Support

If you have seen a television program or documentary featuring Uganda, there is a good chance that we were involved in it. Wild Frontiers offer a range of “fixing” services for film crews; from facilitating media/filming contracts, to logistics, to “anything else”
